DESCRIPTION:\nMOCK TRIAL JUDGES NEEDED\n \nThe time is upon us!  I know it feels early, but we moved up the annual CCBA 8th Grade Mock Trial competition to February 16 and 17 this year to accommodate some of the schools.\n \n \n \nSo, if you can help this year, please send me an email with the following information:\n \n \n \nYour Name\n \nDate(s) and Time(s) you can volunteer\n \nCell phone number in case I need to reach you before or during competition\n \n \n \n(Example response:\n \nJohn Smith\n \nFriday, February 16th at 9:00, 10:15, and 1:00 trials\n \nSaturday, February 17th - not available)\n \n \n \nRemember, the time slots that you can volunteer for are:\n \n \n \nFRIDAY February 16th - 9:00 a.m. (be at courthouse at 8:30); 10:15ish; and 1:00; AND\n \n \n \nSATURDAY February 17th - 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.  (I usually want to use attorneys for this time slot that either have done this before or have done at least one trial on Friday.  The Saturday rounds are the semi-finals and Finals, so I want Judges familiar with the process/problem).\n \n \n \nPlease provide me a response as soon as you can lock in your date.  I will put you on the list and notify you a few times between then and Feb 16th of your time slot.\n \n \n \nPERKS:  Coffee/pastries for the morning Judges; Lunch for the Judges that stay for both the 10:15 and 1:00 trials; and the warm fuzzy feeling in your heart when you see the fresh smiling faces of 8th graders doing their best to portray TV lawyers. \n \n \n \nThanks.\n \nDale R.
