Summary - "Do you know what your IT department is doing? If litigation is possible, you're going to need to know. Good information management should include data retention and destruction policies that go well beyond the days of filing cabinets and shredders. All of these policies need exceptions for litigation. Litigation hold policies allow defense from spoliation. What are best practices and how can you prepare your IT department to respond to depositions, including subpoenas duces tecum?"
