"Don't Get Killed by Technological Incompetence: Tech Tools & Tips to Know"
With the Texas Supreme Court's amendment of Paragraph 8 of the comment to Rule 1.01 of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct, an attorney's duty to maintain competence now includes knowing about relevant technology. Chris Downs with Weeks Law Firm and Rick Robertson with Koons Fuller, are active in the Computer and Technology Section of the State Bar and frequent speakers on using technology in the practice of law. They discuss the ethics rules, and present technology tools and tips releated to law and law practice.
