Join us for a Panel Discussion on Guardianship Topics with panelists The Honorable Judge Weldon Copeland, attorney Lori Leu, attorney Christene Krupa-Downs and Guardianship Coordinator for the Probate Court William Schultz.
Judge Copeland and William Schultz will discuss “Dotting I’s, Crossing T’s, “Technical” Requirements, and Commonly Misunderstood Issues/Matters. Lori Leu will address considerations when contemplating taking on guardianship cases that will likely be contested, including educating the client, managing client expectations, enabling clients to understand the expenses of contested guardianships. Ms. Downs will discuss situations involving special-needs young adults and situations involving such substantial cognitive decline that no opposition to the guardianship is anticipated.
