Presentation: Incorporating AI into a Texas Law Practice

This presentation provides a technical and ethical roadmap for incorporating Artificial Intelligence into a Texas law practice. Tom will review the applicable disciplinary rules and demonstrate structured prompting techniques designed to maintain "social credibility" and professional standards in drafted pleadings. The session concludes with a critical look at the Texas Rules of Evidence as they relate to AI, specifically focusing on the authentication of legitimate AI tools and the emerging challenges of defending against deepfake digital evidence.
