TOPIC: CASE STUDY: BUSINESS VALUATION AND PERSONAL GOODWILL IN DIVORCE MATTERS
Their proposed idea for the meeting would be over personal goodwill deductions for a business in a divorce. The idea is that they would have a mock company and have a good cop / bad cop style presentation, where they each argue different perspectives on the value of the business (one arguing for a low value and the other a high value). They will present different methodologies aand assumptions that can impact the valuation.
