FAMILY LAW SECTION MEETING

Family Law Tax Matters: Divorce, Adoption and other tax matters
This presentation will discuss the tax consequences of a divorce ranging from who pays the tax bill to property settlement and retirement account matters. Additionally, we will discuss the concepts of equitable spouse and innocent spouse doctrine. Tax Credits like the adoption child tax credit will also be discussed.
